Need a new racquet thats easy on my arm.

I found out this winter from my doctor that at some point in the future I'm going to need elbow reconstruction surgery. I just about lost my arm about 15 years ago. I haven't had any elbow problems while playing but I thought it's time to goto a racquet thats easier on my arm and maybe give me a few extra years before I need the surgery. Right now I use Wilson N Tour 95 strung at 55 lbs with NXT string I could use a racquet with alittle more power. I'm going to demo a Flexpoint 4 when the snow here is gone. Any other racquets i should demo? I want to goto a larger head too, maybe 100 to 107. I'm about a 3.0 player. Any help would be great.

PS-Is there any non gut strings that are softer than the NXT? I don't care about durability.

Re: Need a new racquet thats easy on my arm.

easy on the arm you want something that is reasonably flexible and a bit of give stay clear of wilsons on that note

softer string babolat xcel premium is probably the closest thing to natural gut or you could go for VS touch which is gut
i slightly cheaper option would be attraction power

back to rackets tho

would really depend on your level of play and your technique
