anyone tried these tennis balls?

Hey everyone,

I've just picked up the sport and I've been looking for a bucket of balls to practice with.

The one I think I may get is the "Gamma Bucket - O - Balls." Amazon has one review (which isn't great), but I was wondering if anyone else has used these and if I could get your opinion on them.

Thanks,

Michael

P.S, here's the picture

Pressureless balls are mainly for ball machines. They don't have the same bounce and feel as regular balls. These Gamma's feel like "toy balls" to me (if that makes any sense).

If you really want to buy pressureless balls, get the Tretorn Micro-X. These are the closest thing to regular balls.

In the end, I would just buy regular balls.

I live by the saying "practice the way that you play." In a real match, you play with real tennis balls, so practice with real tennis balls. I would recommend buying some a case of quality tennis balls.

This reply is probably too late for the OP, but FYI, I bought this Gamma Bucket-O-Balls and I didn't like it at all. The bounce is OK but they feel very soft to hit (like they're flat). And the felt also kinda gums up like cheap carpet in no time. If you want pressureless practice balls, try the Tretorn Micro X balls. They are a little harder than regular balls, though. But they last a long time and keep their bounce.

Yes, in proper matches you'll compete with real tennis balls, so buy real tennis balls and practise with them, if you practise with pressureless balls you will be lost when it comes to a match, youll be swinging the way you do with pressureless ones and the quality ball will fly long.

Not that i play with great deal or spin but trying to hit topspin mainly but also slice is a god damn nightmare with pressureless balls.
