Newbie question...

newbie re this site not tennis.

Been playing for years with a very old worn Wilson and feel the time to change. I particularly like narrow beam rackets I guess classed as control rackets, power isn't what I'm looking for. I've tried a Prince 03 White and whilst I liked it I couldn't ignore the width of the beam.

Now, my local sports retailer tells me the Prince range is fabulous quality so firstly is that true? Secondly, I'm now wanting to look at the 03 Tour and hoped someone here has experience of this racket?

I'd appreciate it if you'd post some info on this and any other racket you suggest that has a narrow beam and considered more a control racket.

Thanks all for reading my post #1.

Re: Newbie question...

I play with the Babolat Pure Control Std. racquet. I love how it feels, theres pop but keeps you inside the court for the most part. Its an idea to consider and although its a Babolat, not very many people have it, unlike the ubiquitous Pure Drive.

Babolat Pure Control Team. Oh yeah.
