Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

Hi! Anyone has this racket (Federer's racket)? I love the control it gives on the groundstrokes, but I'm having trouble serving because it's so heavy.

Any tips from fellow users of this racket?

Re: Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

The funny thing is that I'm able to hit good overheads. The problem only comes with the serve.

Re: Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

not Fed's racquet (paintjob).

Lift weights until your arm is as big as Roddick's?

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Well there should be a profound sweet spot. It's the man's racquet after all.

LOL. Maybe.

I actually hit one or two good serves, one of them right down the tee. Maybe it's just a matter of practice and getting the hang of it.

Re: Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

i gave you a reply on wta world silverwhite

i don't think it is a paintjob for federer. i saw him play throughout the aus open and i was front row for the semi and it looks exactly the same shape. it definitely is not his old sampras racquet

Re: Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

I'll buy it off you... The racket sold in shops is still 90 sq. inches, like Rogers, but Rogers has been customised so much it is the same as his old 6.0
I have seen it up close, and trust me.

Jim Thomas - Max Mirnyi - Jordan Kerr - Rohan Bopanna - Andy Roddick - Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi - Ilia Bozoljac - Chris Haggard - Jan-Michael Gambill - Donald Young - Nathan Healey - Lleyton Hewitt - Jamie Murray - Olivier Rochus - James Blake - Vince Spadea - Tim Henman - John Isner - Travis Parrott - Paul Goldstein - Tim Henman - Wes Moodie - Arnaud Clement - Michael Russell - Jeff Coetzee

Re: Wilson nCode Six-One Tour

I think the Six-One uses the black grip? It's all about leather grips They look and feel so good!

I'll try it maybe when my nCode is worn. For now, I'm loving the challenge it gives me.

The Six-One Tour's grip is orange. The Six-One Team's is black.

yeah i know rogers has been customised but it's not a paint job because that means you've just taken the racquet they always used and put the current colours on it like gaudio has.
