Overgrip

I have a head titanium 1000 racket, the grip has bascially worn away at the bottom so it's quite slidy.

I bought some Head overgrip but it won't stick at all to the grip? Lol... am I doing something wrong here?

Re: Overgrip

dude you mean like grip tape? it's not self adhesive, you have to wrap it around the grip, real tight, and then it should have come with a few little pieces of adhesive tape that you wrap around the very top edge of the grip tape...

see if this helps, the pictures aren't really very clear... but yeah it doesn't sstick on its own, you have to wrap it all the way up and then put adhesive tape. If you lost the tape it comes with, you can use fabric tape (like first aid tape for blisters) or prolly any durable waterproof tape.

Re: Overgrip

Hmmm ok, no it did not come with adhesive tape and the diagram on the back of the box showed just putting it on (it feels sticky on the back, but just doesn't stick to the handle).

I'll try that though, thanks!

Re: Overgrip

if the base grip has worn away it would be better to replace it rather than simply put on overgrip on top

Re: Overgrip

And then put an overgrip on so the base grip remains unaffected?
