Need a recommendation

I currently have a Head Titanium 1000 which is aging quite a bit!

I had a quick look in Decathlon (local sports store), the Wilson ones seemed the lightest and easiest to handle.

I need to be able to serve reasonably quickly so looking for more of a "power" one than control.

Cheers,

do you like what you are using? would you go for something with similar specs again? if so, then something like the wilson k zeen team fx should be quite similar

Re: Need a recommendation

Well, demo a few racquets that appeal to you then buy the one that you like most.

Re: Need a recommendation

What's the disadvantage of lighter rackets?

Re: Need a recommendation

lighter rackets have less stability and are more likely to twist in your hand, especially if you are playing someone who hits the ball very hard

Re: Need a recommendation

Hmmm ok, maybe I need a slightly heavier one then.

Just one more thing, after I play tennis I have a small shake in my right arm, it doesn't really effect me doing anything it's just annoying.

Is this down to poor damping of the racket?

Re: Need a recommendation

it could be the racket. light rackets tend to be stiffer, so they transmit moe vibrations to your arms
