I'm playing Tennis since 2 summer and i'm naturally good at every sport.I think i'm becomign a decent player but clearly i have no idea since my opponants are only my friends and I dont really know their level anyway.I'm good at slicing , in fact I think I was good the first match I ever play at that , I have a one-handed backhand which took me some times to adjust and still doing it , I dont even know if I really do control my topspin , my serve is getting better and my dropshots and lobs are insanely good for a player of my experience , but damn I feel like i'm not sure how to do that or that but when I do it instinctively I feel like I can do anythign to that ball.
any ideawhat I should do ,Im more used to team sports so its a new situation for me and im very competitive and i cant take playing for the birds and insects anymore.
You can see that his guy hits very well for an intermediate player but has a lot of flaws: look how he doesn´t put the left foot in front when hitting a forehand, for example.
Those guys are really good. There's no way that people worse than them fall under the category of beginner, which in my mind only refers to people that have just started playing tennis.
Really I think that pretty much everyone falls under the category of intermediate. It's an extremely broad category. Just go play some club tennis, and you'll be put into a grade and you'll be able to judge from that how good you are (that's me pretty much saying exactly what other people have already said).
Maybe I expressed myself bad, off course that players of the video are advanced players that might be playing for many years now, but you can still see some flaws from them (thay are college players probably or trying to enter college), so I´m assuming that if you play at that level you are a good player but still can improve, if you´re aiming a high performance.
For club players, that level is very good.
