String going out of line , Problem ?

Is it bad if the string on a racket goes out of line often and freely ? As on my racket i am forever pushing the string back into place with my fingers .

Thanks

it means that the strings have lost tension and gone 'dead'. you just need to have your racket restrung

Re: String going out of line , Problem ?

that doesnt matter. the moment a racket is taken off the stringing machine the strings start to lose tension and there is absolutely nothing that can be done about it. plus, assuming the racket is factory strung you dont know how long the strings had been in the racket before you bought it

Take Wilson Stamina 17. Covers almost all aspects of playing equally. cheers.
