Re: Babolat vs Wilson

generally babolat make slightly more powerful easy to use frames. wilson are known more for traditional style control frames. if you want someone to recommend you a racket you might need to tell us more about your game, rather than just your age

OK...er i have been playing tennis for 4 years. I generally lk to play low balls and would always aim to have the sweet sound when hitting the ball. My standard is maybe 5/10. My current racquet is a Wilson "wilson ncode oversize".

I like wilson better, but overall HEAD is my favorite.

Marcos Baghdatis Forever!

Through the good and the bad, always my #1, no matter what the rankings say

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

my experience:

babolat-you will be able to harder hit the balls
much more spin
wilson-you can hit every corner you want, easier swing....

i am dedicated to wilson, because i can easier hit what i want and i am just adding some of my own power for harder hitting...

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

C'est simple:

- Babolat plays like a wooden bat. It's a shit racket for moonballers and grinders.

- Wilson is a racket for all-court, classic players.

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

babolat is for juniors and grannies who have trouble generating their own pace...

wilson always have a decent range from year to year...

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

It really depends what kind of player you are.
Have you tried to demo Head racquets?

For instance Radical microgel?

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

Babolat is generally a lighter racquet and is usually for spin players.

Wilson is an all court racquet but usually has a smaal head size.

So its your choice dude.

Re: Babolat vs Wilson

I agree with OffsideSpin on this one. I just a few weeks ago switched to a HEAD Microgel Prestige and have to say that it is the BEST racquet I have ever used. Total control and as much power as YOU can supply. If you wanna lift your game...play with the HEAD Prestige 93.
