String Weight

I just got my Technifibre tfight 320 max today and on the racket its unstrung specs say it weighs 11.3oz but on the tennis warehouse site it says strung the racket weighs 11.9oz does string really weigh over an half a oz? PS the racket feels alot lighter than 11.8oz to me.

strings weigh about 17g or 0.6oz.

Most strings will fall in the range of 15-20 grams, but the weight depends on the string materials and thickness.
