Getting a ball machine

I'm going to practice a lot over the summer once school gets out, so I'm getting a ball machine (yes, I know having a trainer is better - the ball machine is for spare time). I was wondering if any of you guys knew the quirks of each machine. For instance...

What advantages does one machine have over the other?
What machines break down easily?
What machines have the most functions?

Etc., etc. etc.
