Re: Playing Tennis in Short Nike Runner's Shorts?

If they have pockets they are probably fine. They look a bit short but I doubt you'd get stares.

Nah - you'll be fine.

Some people wear the latest tennis fashions, and other people wear just what they feel like wearing. I used to belong to a tennis club that also had a big gym and people would come play in workout wear.

And to be honest in beginner's classes, I've seen people wearing just regular shorts because they don't have any idea what they are supposed to be wearing.

Wear what you are comfortable in - that's what is most important.

I've been saying the male short-shorts needs a comeback for years.

As long as they aren't as short as what Borg used to wear.

The ones in the picture are fine - they are short, but not too short.

they are fine. i've worn shorter shorts for tennis and more outrageous outfits than you could imagine. i got weird looks from some people who are 'traditionalists' but everyone thought i was a visionary

Re: What do you think?

You are not an amateur at tennis, yet you're not sure what's okay to wear? Seems like an amateur question to me.

Troicki - Djokovic - Del Potro - Kyrgios - Berankis
Cibulkova - Robson - Kirilenko - Azarenka
Retired but always loving Ferrero - Ancic - Kiefer

Hard to find tickets in the Out in the Open Era. But in the off-season, these guys are born Exhibitionists.

It's a great tour.. rather hard to find clothing sponsorship though.
