Losing interest

Hi all, im Andy. im new to the forum. Ive played tennis since a young age (13) and now im almost 30 and seem to have burnt out. I now longer have the same desire to pick up my racquet and go play. this has been goin on for a few months now and im beginning to wonder if tennis has lost its appeal for me. has anyone been through anything similar?

Re: Losing interest

Well, perhaps you should start doing something else and go back to tennis in a couple of years. It happens with almost everything. You just need a break!

Re: Losing interest

Thanks for that. Think ill find another sport to keep me occupied. tennis just seems like the most ridiculous sport in the world right now. does that make sense?

Re: Losing interest

Everyone goes through fazes of liking and disliking everything including sport. I'm sure watching wimby on the telly will inspire you anyways.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game
