Dear tennis events organizers and participants!

I’m creating an app for tennis players and I would love to hear your feedback on it and your ideas that will help the app to be more useful for you.
Here is what you will be able to do with this app:

• You will be able to tag locations of tennis courts, say what kind of court (clay, grass, concrete) it is. You will also be able to give a "quality score" for how well the court is maintained.

• You will be able to set up "events" that will allow others to come and play at your event, making it easy for your event to be found. This could be something as in depth as a tournament or simply a friendly get together. You'll also be able to specify the level of play for the event as well.

• Also you will be able to find places and people to play when you're traveling. :wavey:

The goal for the app is to make it easier for other tennis players to find your event and thus have more players and meet new people.

What do you think?
Give me your feedback and more ideas to make this app better. :)

I think it's a great idea. I traveled a lot with my daughter when she started playing ITF junior tournaments and such an information would be extremely useful for me at that time. If you ever do that, let me know. I can supply information about all the courts in Almaty, or at least names of clubs and contact numbers of the mangers/owners. Having on-line booking of the courts would be cool too, sort of the way hotels are booked now.

Dear Gulzhan, thank you so much for your valuable feedback! :hatoff:

I would definitely love to have that kind of information from you.

Are you from Almaty, Kazakhstan?

We have a guy helping us with the app, based in Aqtau. I’ll send you our emails so you may keep in touch with both of us for this.

Thanks again!

Hi Freak3yman84,

In short with this ipad/ iphone app you can create your tennis events and invite other tennis players to participate. You can also see other events and join them

You also can find and meet other tennis players in any location across the world as you travel.

Finally you can see all available tennis clubs, courts, etc in any world location as you select.

What do you think? :)

Now if only we had a decent score app with stream links..... You all know the current ones suck the only halfway decent one is ATP/WTA Live.
I shouldn't have to go to Skyfire flash browser and go to lshunter.tv to get my streams they should all be easy

Great idea mate. Would add locations of tennis coaches and schools as well.

Will this app be available for Android? The level of my excitement upon this app is fully dependant on your answer.

Thanks a lot Sham Kay! Your idea for coaches is brilliant and I will definitely be adding it. :)

As for android: I am creating the app to be able to be ported to android quickly. However the android version will probably lag the iOS version by about one month.

Good stuff, that's what I wanted to hear. If all goes well, this has the potential to make tennis more accessible and social among ordinary folk. Let us know when you've finished testing and release the app.
