Finding Area tournaments??

Hey guys, I am new to the forum so I thought id do a quick intro first. I am 30 (31 on monday) i've been playing since I was 13. I played all throughout highschool and in many leagues after graduation but never really got into any serious tournament play.
Recently I started getting very serious about my play and at nearly 31 I am playing above and beyond any level i've ever played in the past.

My question is, is there a source where I would be able to find upcoming tournament on the east coast? I have found some but not any substantial tournament list. The last time I played seriously I was playing at a 5.0 level but right now I feel im playing much better than I was at that point.

Any help would be great...thanks

Re: Finding Area tournaments??

No worries, Jay. Get hooked in with an area/league coordinator. They'll know the scoop on ALL the tournaments...sanctioned and otherwise (there are some nice fundraiser/charity events around here).

Again...good luck and congrats on not only getting back into the sport but increasing your skill level.

I love my girls.
