I need a bit of advice about clay.

Im playing a tournament startig on Sunday on clay, and ive never played on it before. Im a bit worried about making an ass of myself on it, especially since my double handed shots are generally flat and low. Worried also about the movement. I have quite a mixed game so wouldnt have that much trouble adapting to something easier, so does anyone have any tips how to do that?

WTA is full of goddess', and the ATP if full of pushing, choking mugs¬!!!

My advice would be to try to arrange a practice session beforehand if possible to get yourself accustomed to sliding into shots. Also, work on your kick serve out wide into the ad court (assuming you're a righty).

Probably too late now, but definitely hit on the surface beforehand.

The first time I played on clay, as Sharapova might say, I felt like a cow on ice. That's coming from someone who normally considers his movement to be his greatest asset. The footing is completely different.
