Kinesio Tape

Has anyone tried this tape. Been having a shoulder issue and have some on order. Did some research and the reviews are really mixed. Then I saw a lot of Olypmic athletes using it so I thought I've give it a try.

Anyone else tried it ?? Results ???

Re: Kinesio Tape

Obviously no one has tried this stuff, but I'll tell you, it works very well. Helped my shoulder within 10 days which is two treatments with it. If you're having any shoulder, arm, or leg issues, I'd recommend it. I'm seeing more players on tour using it and it works.

Whats it like to put on and take off? Difficult?

I still believe in the one-handed backhand.

It's pretty thin but the adhesive is awesome. It has a backing and you peel up the backing and then pull the backing off slowly as you put the tape in place.
They recommend not stretching it out and that is tough to do because it is so flexible. You leave it on 3 to 5 days and it actually stays on through playing sweating, and showers. It is pretty unbelievable. Then when you go pull it off to change it, it comes off easily.

You may need help if you need the tape in places that are not easy to reach. Upside, it really does help, downside is, it is pretty expensive. About $15 a roll, but I've had a roll for a month for only a shoulder and have only used about half of it, so it does go a long way.

Re: Kinesio Tape

it works wonders, but buy a book with tips how to apply it or else it does only half the trick.

Davydenko, Baghdatis, Tipsarevic, Wawrinka, Gulbis, Troicki, Kyrgios
Sharapova, Jankovic, Zvonareva, Kirilenko, Vesnina, Dokic, Bacsinszky, Jovanovski, Pironkova
