Your Personal Foolproof Technique for Faster Recovery After Rigorous Training

Suggestions are welcome. I'm training for an end of year tournament and I find that my recovery time was not as fast as when I started training in 2004. Icing and everything helps, but what else would you recommend?

if its from lifting weights i take a hot bath and sleep but if its from like tennis training (lines, drills etc.) i just drink a lot of fluid and eat some energy bars.
