Tips for improving

I started playing tennis about 6 weeks ago. I'm no where as good as I would like to be, but I understand that I have to give myself some time to work out the kinks in my game. I played on my schools varsity tennis team this season (which just ended Friday) on the 2 doubles team for a few matches and played on the JV team at 1 singles and 1 doubles. I really want to develop my game to the highest level and I registered on this forum to ask some of you reading this right now. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Tips for improving

The best ways to improve are to
1. practice
2. join a clinic or get private lessons
3. play lots of tournaments
4. watch tennis matches and observe the pros
5. read about tennis
Those are all the tips I think of off the top of my head, but if I come up with anymore I'll post them.

Re: Tips for improving

Learn the right fundamentals. That is the key if you want to go to the highest level you can go. Once you have strong fundamentals, you can adapt and make changes in the future easier.
