And I think he needs to get his eyes checked, he hasn't been right very often

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

7-6 6-4 for Robredo. Well, it wasn't a great match at all. He had a couple of nice shots, but his inconsistency killed him in the end, unfortunately.

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

GSM Robredo. Robin played some good points but was much to inconsistent to really trouble Robredo. Hope some matches (and wins hopefully) at the challenger level will make Robin's play more consistent

Edit: I just noticed that Haase had used his PR to try and get into Marseille, but he didn't make it so he's playing a challenger instead which I think he also used his PR to get in. Anyone know whether that counts as two uses of a PR or just one since he didn't actually get into Marseille?

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

Robin pulled out of the Challenger in Belgrado, according to nu.nl due to food poisoning.

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

He has still six tournaments remaining with his PR and want two of them to use for Roland Garros and Wimbledon. After this week he will play Delray Beach.

Berdych - Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Llodra - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - Meuffels - Sels - Van Rijthoven

All time: Safin - Schalken - Krajicek - Sluiter - Verkerk - Henman - Ivanisevic - Nalbandian - Ferrero - Philippoussis - Sampras - Siemerink - Blake - F.Gonzalez - Ancic - Haarhuis/Eltingh

Still supporting all the Dutchies despite their great choking skills

He is directly in the main draw of Delray Beach. Hopefully a good draw this time!

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

Good choice to play Delray Beach!
The tournament has a very poor field, meaning there's a decent chance to survive a few rounds.

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

[7] J Blake (USA) vs. T Dent (USA)
Qualifier vs. R Haase (NED)
[WC] S Grosjean (FRA) vs. D Brands (GER)
P Petzschner (GER) vs. [2] I Karlovic (CRO)

Pretty good draw for Robin. Good luck!

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

Robin won 76 76 over Kendrick! Robin served at 5*-4 for the first set but got broken and took it in the tie-break. In the second set he was most of the time a break down but he recovered and won it also in the tie-break. I'm a bit worried that Robin makes a lot of df's after his comeback. This match he made 8 of them.
Next is Blake or Dent!

Berdych - Tsonga - Wawrinka - Del Potro - Gasquet - F.Lopez - Monfils - Haas - Janowicz - Youzhny - Tomic - Llodra - Hewitt - Gulbis - Mahut - Haase - Schoorel - Sijsling - Huta Galung - De Bakker - Van der Duim - Westerhof - Middelkoop - Koolhof - Lootsma - Meuffels - Sels - Van Rijthoven

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

Good win.
You have to beat the Kendricks of this world if you want to get back to the top 100.

Re: Robin Haase Cheering Thread

Robin lost 6-3, 6-1. He broke Blake early in the match but got immediately broken back and after that it was one way traffic.
Some bad serve stats for Robin. His first serve % was very low and he lost way to many points on his second serve. He also give away BP's way too easy.
Disappointing stuff.
