I've been following this kid for a long time now, and he's just really starting to make a splash on the ATP Tour, so I figure I'll start up this thread.

Made his Junior Grand Slam Debut at the 2009 Australian Open, reaching the 3rd round. This came after a final appearance at a G1 Event the week before.

Between the Australian Open and September he played in a few Futures tournaments, aged only 16/17. He qualified for a Futures in Portugal, before losing in the first round.

Around September of 2009 Eleveld really hit some good form. As a Wildcard he would reach the Second Round of two Futures in his homeland. He then played qualifying for the Alphen Challenger, winning all three points, before losing in the first round to Kindlmann 6-4, 6-4. This would bring Eleveld's ranking up to around 1100 in the World.

After that Eleveld went back to America to play some Junior events. He lost in the Second round of the Eddie Herr Tournament, before making it to the Semi-finals of the prestigous Orange Bowl, losing to eventual winner Gianni Mina.

In 2010 he would do 1 better, winning the G1 Junior before the Australian Open, and although he had a favourable draw, would lose in the second round of the tournament. Although he lost early in the Singles draw, he would go on to win the Doubles event with friend and compatriot Jannick Lupescu.

His next Junior event was Roland Garros, in which he lost in First Round, and would lose in the Round of 16 at Wimbledon. His doubles pairing lost in the 2nd round of Roland Garros to the eventual winners, and in the first round in Wimbledon.

Afterwards he competed in the S'Hertengosch qualifying, lost to Kindlmann again, in the second round of qualifying, and he played in the Scheveningen Challenger, losing in three sets to Kristof Vliegen in the first round.

More recently he's competed in two futures back in Holland, reaching the semi-finals in the first, and retiring in the quarter-finals of the second.

He's now competing in the main draw of Alphen den Rijn.
