Re: Doubles Draw

Gasquet/Grosjean
Patience/Sidorenko
Gicquel/Serra
Ascione/Llodra
Mahut/Mathieu
Benneteau/Clement

The Frenchies have formed some weird pairings. The first 3 teams are not that surprising but no Benneteau/Mahut and Clement/Llodra? Benneteau and Clement are both good doubles players but Mahut and Llodra both chose players that have had far less doubles success than they have.

Benneteau & Mahut are overrated. Especially Benneteau.

Yes, but Thierry doesn't play that often. Don't get me wrong, he is not as good as Julien or Nicolas, but I would not classify Julien as a very good doubles player at all.

I disagree but that's not the point. He's better than most of the Frenchies. Besides, the main thing I was wondering about was why Llodra and Mahut didn't pair up.
