Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

A win over Lalo in the final would make my month! Pleasepleaseplease, Adrian. I'm allergic to La Lopez.

And a big one:

Final at 12.30 again, maybe it will favour Adrian, he's played every day at that time of the day.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Fran, I feel the same way about Lopez. He didn't help improve my feelings by beating Mahut yesterday, either.

Not going well so far, so I came here to spread support, allez Adrian...

nice save of BP, don't go down double break please

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Each time I used to post in the "Most disliked players" thread, I had Lalo as number 1 - which usually earned me a good rep from Deivid!

Match suspended at 3-6 2-1, let's hope Adrian won't need one set again to find his rhythm.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

I'm not surprised coming from Deivid!

Yeah, shame it started raining just when he had finally got it together a bit more. Bad timing.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

He dedicated this good run to Mathieu, who was a very good friend of him and he feels like he fights for him now on the court.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Before the very touching words about Mathieu, he also thanked the cooks of the tournament.
Even his speeches are cute.

And "Congrats to Feliciano who was way too good for me today" - I beg to disagree, Adrian, he was not better in the rallies.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Aw Adrian. Was really nice of him to dedicate it to Mathieu, shame it couldn't be a win for him.

Really good week though and he's now a Top 100 player, which is great.

Yeah, it was a really nice speech from what I understood (actually a lot since his French is easy to understand).

You're better than their interpreter then, it was a bit awkward because she hadn't gotten at all the part about Mathieu! She was like " what he heck is he talking about?", he had to explain it to her again.

I recorded the last part of the match after the rain break, but the file seems to be really weird, I can't convert it, I doubt I can edit just the speech.
I can upload the whole file, though, if anybody is interested. It starts at 2-1 in the 2nd set.

Edit: here's his speech, but very bad quality:

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

#94!

I wonder if he'll get the FFT wild-card again if there aren't enough withdrawals for the US Open, he would be the obvious choice.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Congrats on the Top 100

There are some more pictures from Segovia in this gallery, I guess mostly the same as on the tournament's site, but maybe in a better quality:

He also won there in 2007
