Somebody wrote on Classim that he injured his finger a little bit on the MP against Kavcic, I hope he will be fine again for the match. He went back to France after the qualies.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Jenny, if you're going again, can you take a plastic cup and fiddle with it when Marc is on your side on the court, please?
I translated an article about Marc last time in his thread:

They now laugh about it, but it's really spoilt his career for years.

Just to get some rest or for medical treatment?

I've got loads of spare party cups, Jenny I'd be happy to mail you some.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

I was just drinking from a plastic cup as I read this!

I will be there!

I would be honoured to fiddle with some plastic cups at the match. I might just sit right behind his chair, just so that I can show them to him occasionally at key moments during the match as well, for maximum effect.

I'm nervous about it, hope his finger is fine and he is ready to go. Really want him to win a slam match finally and it's a golden opportunity to meet Blake in the next round potentially, on a show court.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Maybe it was for medical traetment but Adrian really doesn't like being far from home and since the London/Paris trip isn't that long, he maybe took a couple of days to rest at home.

Allez Simon, you rock

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

Yes, sorry for the confusion, the Classim poster also said it's just to spend some time at home, I don't think it had anything to do with his finger.

I already can't wait for your report, Jenny. Let's hope Adrian will deliver and you won't have to come up with plan B.

Apparently it's not sure he will now take some time off for his knee. He only said last time that he has to make a decision.

Re: Adrian Mannarino Cheering Thread

I listened to the audio interview of Marc on the FFT website (they don't have the one of Adrian), the journalist says Adrian found the court really fast compared to Roehampton. Too fast for him. Marc answers he should be the one complaining about fast courts since it's supposed to suit Adrian better.
Nothing special otherwise, Marc says he played well and served very well.
