Mixed title for Santoro

With Hantuchova

"A la base, nous les Français, sommes les champions du monde des râleurs. J'ai l'impression qu'être français, c'est un peu un handicap pour être le meilleur dans ton sport.
Pour faire du sport de haut niveau, d'autres mentalités sont plus propices".

Guy Forget

Other pictures of Fab and Daniela Hantuchova on the court number 2 the first Saturday of RG (from the infotennis forum...):

They seem to get on well!

Yes it is...
I guess that's because he hasn't enough fans maybe... Or because those didn't do what is needed to have a Santoro forum...
It's like for Escudé. It's an even bigger shame! Because he'll come back and play even better than he did enjoying it even more and stronger than before his injuries it tell you!!
(Maybe that's not too bad for Llodra not to have his own forum... )
How do you do to open another forum?
Who do you have to ask?

Re: Mixed title for Santoro

I only wondered about it...
Fabrice is a important player for the atp i think - hes game is so crazy to watch.
I hope he beat melzer, than we could see him playing against fed..

Anyone know if he said something about how long he will play on the atp?

Fab beat Melzer quite convincingly despite an early break in the first set in 3 "easy" sets. Now he'll face Federer and loose but i hope he'll put up a good fight and above all enjoy himself on the court. That's the only thing that matters at his age. He said he likes to play Fed in the past. So i guess he's happy since it's the third time he meets him early in a Slam this year...

As always, he's supposed to play doubles with Mika Llodra (they're seeded 6th) but since Llodra had to go to the hospital and everything i don't know what they'll decide...
If they play, it will be against the Austrian pair Knowle/Melzer (Yeah! Melzer again! ).

He will also play mixed doubles with Tati Golovin during this USO 2005. They'll play the 7-seeded team Martina Navratilova and Leander Paes in the first round...
Always partnering the young cute girls...hehe

I don't know, Deflori. I think he doesn't know it himself and plans to play till he enjoys it, as long as his body holds and he still has quite some good results winning matches against some top players, till this life style doesn't bother his family etc...If one of these parameters isn't there anymore, maybe he'll happily just stop his career without regrets...
I think he'll play for still a few years on the circuit in singles and a lot more in doubles...He still has a few years of tennis left in him, i think...(he'll be 33 on December 9th, he's born in 1972 )

Re: Mixed title for Santoro

Audio interview: http://www.articles.fft.fr/Audio.asp?ID=1149

"Federer is the best player of all time" [...] "He's perfection" [...] "He has a perfect technic, a perfect attitude on and off court" [...] "Too bad i won't be able to be here in two days to watch him play..." etc...etc... (He's starstruck...)

Then: "I think i'm lucky to be able to play him but seeing how well i feel now and how i play i think i could have beaten other players and win some more matches so i'm a bit disappointed to play him so early..." [...] He has no weaknesses only weapons and strenghts so i won't concentrate on his game only on mine, enjoy and i'm going to fight..."
That's basically what he says...

Plus Eurosport video interview: mms://wmediavod.coltfrance.com/wmeur..._3_240x180.wmv

The "old man" drinks salted water during his matches now (since his partner Llodra had to go to the hospital because he suffered from the heat and humidity...)...
