Now i'm sure Nole will win it because Olivier has a bad habit of losing 5-setters.

It's a very beautiful match! The quality of play is

Re: Olivier Patience anyone?

Too bad for him...He deserved to win today, Djokovic hasn't been great except when it really mattered (the tiebreaks) and Patience got tight on some key points (like the 2nd SP in the 1st set). Djokovic has shown his maturity and fighting spirit though...

Re: Olivier Patience anyone?

What a match! What quality of play! What a fight!

They're both 2 class acts. I'm happy for Nole. And for once the crowd was into it.

Yep it was very close and both deserved to win. But Novak is truely a great champion, as Olivier said after the match. So beautiful to see them both beeing interviewed at the same time, Novak asking the crowd to congratulate his opponent, both leaving the court togethezr while all the spectators where giving them a standing ovation... The best match of the 1st week hands down on all aspects.

The both won exactly the same number of points in those marvellous 4 hours : 165.

Here are the stats : http://www.rolandgarros.com/fr_FR/sc...12/1105ms.html

I have not seen all matches, but I think that was the best French performance in RG overall. Well played Olivier. But sometimes even I start believing in a curse.

Re: Olivier Patience anyone?

Nole fan here.
Just to congratulate for a great fight and a fantastic match. If he played against anyone but Nole I would be cheering for him to win.

Better luck next time, and I hope he keeps up with good tennis.
