Re: Julien Benneteau

In le parisien today some news. He still don't know when he will come back. He still doesn't withdraw from Basel so he could play. he has to talk with the doctor and with Forget to see what to do and today Champion should give him his anwser for next year while I though it was done already

Re: Julien Benneteau

Thanks soulage. I think it's still not sure at all for the final... it will be a casse-tête for Forget to choose between bennet or arnaud.
Of course, on the one hand, personly I'd be very very happy, and much more, if arnaud would play it with mika. But on the other hand, julien deserves so much to play in final, he was injured in semi, in his home region, that was crual, while he's soo motived for the competition.
The best would be to make them play...both. lol It's terrible.
Of course, in this article they're not that pessimistic about his presence in belgrade, he still has time to recover and practice with mika, but I think gorget will hesitate cos he loves both players and knows his decision will make someone sad.

anyway i'm happy i'm not the captain ! lol

Re: Julien Benneteau

For Bercy he will decide at the last moment but he could withdraw. His goal is to be ready for the DC training session. Forget could select him and see how it works in that case i assume Forget would take 6 players.

Re: Julien Benneteau

He's back with Courteau. Champion finally decided to stay with his family. He could start the year in Sydney instead of Brisbane if he's not ready.

Quote:

Re: Julien Benneteau

It's confirmed that he has withdrawn from Brisbane not ready yet. He should start in Sydney

Re: Julien Benneteau

I was going to ask, will he be able to play AO? Or is the Sydney start just a precaution or ability to get extra training?

Re: Julien Benneteau

it's just precaution he already said in early december that he could skip Brisbane. I Think he should be ready for AO.

Quote:

The question is how he will be after 5 months out of the tour. He may need some weeks to find a rythm. We'll see.

Re: Julien Benneteau

he's definitely here but often players train here but may not play. we can't be sure until the draw comes out.

and for some reason he greeted me as he left the practice court for no apparent reason, other than he must have mistaken me for someone else

so yes he's alive but may be a little confused

At least people have something to look at during training.
