Re: Michael Llodra

We don't think so. I just hope he retired (wimby/cincy) just because he wants to take all the precautions for the OG.

(Truc, you read the full article, don't you think the journalist was quite funny in his writting style ? Notamment la chanson etc...)

Pour faire du sport de haut niveau, d'autres mentalités sont plus propices".

This. Is. So. Freakin. Awesome! Wish I could have seen it but oh well.

They can't possibly expect him play doubles tonight... can they?

Re: Michael Llodra

Will he keep playing with the bandana clown Clement next year? I'm always thinking that he could do better than that. His current doubles rank is only 21.

Was he again the one who retired at the US Open?

Re: Michael Llodra

No, it was Clément (adductors).

I also mean he would probably do better with another doubles partner, TBH, he really was excellent again when I saw him in Beijing, but I don't think it is going to happen. He always says they get along so well with Arnaud, I don't see them split unless one of them wants to play less doubles.
Doubles also isn't his priority at the moment, I think.

For some reason it seems he only plays with Frenchmen and there aren't so many options then. He did well with Benneteau when they played together and they get along very well too, but Benneteau is playing with Mahut.
For the Davis Cup it would be interesting to play with one of the younger Frenchies too, at least from time to time, but he never does even when he isn't playing with Arnaud.

Re: Michael Llodra

He wuvs Arnaud.

I forgot, I took these pictures, which I don't think nobody saw, I couldn't even see his match vs. Muzzah, well I didn't try very hard, but it was mad crowded and I was counting on seeing him in the doubles, wherein arnaud promptly retired... but at least I got to see the gabashvili match which was fun as hell.

Re: Michael Llodra

They were wearing matching shirts in the doubles which was really cute but not as cute as Darcis Rochus wearing matching shirts cuz those two looked like little matching salt & pepper shakers.

I read on Santoro Forum that's Llodra was supposed to play double with Jo in Moscow but because of Jo's injury it will not happen that's why he plays it with Santoro.

The double will probably important against the czech so maybe next year he will try to play with others frenchies.

I think you might have misinterpreted what I posted above. On that picture you can see Mika performing some physio procedure on an ATP trainer, NOT the other way around.
