Re: Guillaume Rufin

He's really "beefed up" a lot in the past few months/years, he looked rather lanky in the Juniors pics?

Re: Guillaume Rufin

Also two pics of the training camp in November with other FFT players, sorry for the bad quality:

I didn't know about this Olivetti, is he good? I can't remember of any other "double mètre" in French tennis.

Re: Guillaume Rufin

A win for Guillaume in Marseille vs Recouderc. Didn't see the match but here are some weird stats : 15 aces for 10 DF and 38 % of first serves ! He'll need to toughen it up next round though he's got quite a winnable draw with Mertens next.

There is a stream for Marseille though Rufin is the first one to play tomorrow and I'm not sure there'll be coverage. Clues anyone ?

Re: Guillaume Rufin

So far there hasn't been any livestream for the first match of the day indeed, but I see bet365 is having Mertens-Rufin in the program for today.
I didn't see the match either, it sounds like a big struggle listening to his audio interview. "Difficile... difficile... difficile..."

The album of his match:

Re: Guillaume Rufin

Thx for the link princess Not sure about bet365 because he isn't mentionned when I click on the daily matchs of the livestream

About the audio interview, it also sounds like he agrees with the world "ouais...ouais...ouais"

Re: Guillaume Rufin

First QF for Guillaume

Not a very good match though. He needs to work the footwork, it'd help especially on the FH side where it can be an errorfest when he's off like in the 2nd set. He confirmed today he deals very well with key points though.

Next is Zverev.

Re: Guillaume Rufin

Yep, I couldn't follow it closely, but that's the impression I had too - not pretty, but I was impressed by his coolness. Hardly any celebration at the end too, although it's big for him to be in a QF at ATP level.

I recorded the livestream of the 3rd set in case Laura (ou d'autres!) couldn't see it:

You said last time you have a blog about him, Laura?

Re: Guillaume Rufin

Very nice blog! You've really found loads of old pics.

My name is Françoise. It's just the bet365 livestream, not a good recording! But it's watchable in Media Player Classic.

2nd match of the "night session" tomorrow.

Re: Guillaume Rufin

There are some news today in L'Equipe, he's out until April at least because of a painful hip. Planque says they don't want to take any risk.
