Re: Articles, videos, news... about French tennis

at 23:34, the funniest thing for me in the new itws : Tulasne being interviewed about Gilles' week in Dusseldörf where Gilles himself admitted being completely fed up with himself and unable to play anymore, and Tutu says something like "I even thought at some point that Gilles was fed up with me, that he didn't want to see me anymore... I was so worried for him and our collaboration. But it wasn't the problem, thankfully " all with the eyes

Thanks for the link, and the translation.

@ the 44 yo Gilles. I don't know if any new interview is interesting, but if there's other interesting bit, please tell. Thanks.

Re: Articles, videos, news... about French tennis

Well, nobody knows for sure since he hasn't played for a while. He's been training with other players in the US.
I find it less shocking than the Llodra one at the USO. At least Seb is the best player France has had in a while. It's like giving a WC to Mauresmo or Pierce, it would be hard to deny them a WC if they asked for one.
(Llodra, on the other hand, has done nothing to deserve that kind of special treatment over younger players imo. )

But tough luck for Stéphane Robert, he just needs 2 more withdrawals.

That was a short-lived tourney. It won't be missed, though.

Llodra explains today in his audio interview that it was weird to be in one training group with Sidorenko since Sidorenko doesn't play the same events at all and he often was alone during tournaments, so he's apparently left his training group already and is now coached by Rémy Barbarin. It didn't last long!

Re: Articles, videos, news... about French tennis

It's a strange organisation cos he explains that Barbarin will not follow him every week and he should still be helped by the FFT coach some weeks and Barbarin is free only until USO. He's in the FFT but with a private coach and uses the FFT coach sometimes Not easy to understand lol But true that have a coach for two players with different schedule and ranking can't work.
