Re: TT Duel #2 - Argentina vs. Brasil --> The battle of South America!

Adam's TT Commentary - After 2nd singles rubbers

Brasil claimed victory over their arch rivals Argentina after an astonishing final day comeback saw them take home the title with an 11-8 victory. Brasil, who had led after both the first singles rubbers and doubles rubbers found themselves in big trouble going into the final day, but helped from some terrible choking by their Argentine opponents managed to claw their way back and complete a memorable win.

Performance of the day came from Zirconek who breakdanced his way to a stunning victory over merce_arg, and celebrated by doing his famous "worm" celebration at the end of the match to the delight of the huge crowd. With either team needing 10 points to seal the duel, this left Brasil requiring just 3 more points, and keqtqiadv led from the front as he defeated TT amateur Denaon to complete an excellent weeks work in which he won all 3 matches here as well as winning the Montreal title.

Aguante_el_Gato and Caralimon kept Argentinian hopes alive with comprehensive victories, seeing off SarettaFan and JeffCandoi comfortably. However, virex was in inspired form after breaking the World Record last night by sleeping with 243254366823 women, and will no doubt enjoy himself further tonight after playing an important part in Brasil's victory by easing past GustavoM_Fan. The Argentine, who has been the most outspoken player during both TT Duels, was once again furious at his country's loss, blaming everyone other than himself, even suggesting he knew a strategy to win his match but wanted to entertain the crowd. This costly error left Brasil requiring just 1 point to complete a historic day in the country's short Tennis Tipping existance.

All the pressure fell on the shoulders of GlennMirnyi, who had the chance to make himself a national hero by completing the victory, but he faltered under the spotlight and was shown to be hugely one dimensional as he was beaten by manu86 in a rematch of their day 1 encounter. Tytta!. (who used to date virex but split up with him recently due to his serial womanising) became the heroine as she completed the memomable fightback, outlasting Cipa and also justifying the calls for equal prize money for both genders in TT. Nando_L then added the icing on the cake by beating ExcaliburII as parties began on the streets of Rio de Janeiro.

Adam's TT Commentary - After 1st singles rubbers

:singer:

Brasil edged into a 5-3 lead after the opening set of singles rubbers on a day where the Presidents of both countries had to issue a plea for calm after the events of 'Manic Monday'. After a number of clashes on Monday, Nestor Kirchner and Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva declared Tuesday to be a "TT Day Of Peace". However, Argentinian captain GustavoM_Fan let his country down by unleashing a vicious verbal attack on opponent Nando_L after he was surprisingly beaten. In his post match press conference, he unleashed a tirade of insults, suggesting his opponent's name should be "Nando_Loser" and blamed the scheduling for his loss, as well as claiming his notes with his tactics on it were changed by someone. He also mocked Nando_L, saying he has bodyguards to block GustavoM_Fan from getting close to him and ignores all possible contact.

Highest ranked Brasilian keqtqiadv led the way for the Brasil, quietly easing past Cipa to extend Brasil's lead. Despite not seeming entirely convinced by this new TT duel format, young keqtqiadv never lets his country down and produced a solid display. Sadly, we were unable to ask him any question as he skipped his interviews to spend time with girlfriend scythe19pro. Alekutza earned Argentina their first point of the Duel with an impressive victory over Tytta!. who seemed a little lost without her twin Deboogle!. to keep her company. The match was watched by a record crowd of 35,000 of which 34,998 were men. Both players were slightly alarmed by the amount of drool coming onto the court, and court sweepers were called in between the change of ends to dry the court to prevent flooding.

ExcaliburII put the controversy of his dispute with FiBer behind him as he defeated Brasil captain SarettaFan in a tight tussle. The Argentine was another to disobey the calls for peace, and was almost made to look silly against a man he described as "a ridiculous TT player" and "Crapetta". However, SarettaFan failed to take advantage of Excalibur's recent injury problems and fell to a disappointing loss. GlennMirnyi put Brasil back in front with a high quality display, which defied his intentions to retire shortly due to his poor form as he blitzed manu86. The match was filled with controversy after suspricious betting patterns, with Betfair refusing to pay out on GlennMirnyi fearing manu86 had fixed the match to show his fury after the exclusion of FiBeR from the team. Investigations are ongoing, with Detective Davydenko in command of the case.

Aguante_el_Gato crushed "Mister South America" virex to level the match, clearly eager to make a point after being left off the Argentina team against Croatia. It was an easy win with virex seemingly fatigued, with reports suggesting he had been seen in a hotel room last night with 84 gorgeous women. Ever since posting his pictures on internet site MensTennisForums, he has been deluged by marriage proposals and has received 44 pairs of knickers in the mail in the last week. Zirconek is another whose popularity has risen after posting raunchy pictures on the website, and he used his large support to his advantage as he easily defeated quiron. Zirconek, who I'm told is no relation to the wonderful Radek Stepanek is certainly on the rise in the TT world and looks like a player to watch out for in the future. In the sole remaining match, JeffCandoi ensure Brasil led after the 1st set of matches as he beat Denaon in a match between 2 virtual Tennis Tipping unknowns.

You shouldn't complain, you have Tytta on your team who is hotter than those 11 Argies combined :hearts:
thats why we looked for a girl to play this duel, unfortunately we didnt found.  I think I should introduce my sister to the next duel when adam is the manager.
:haha: is she hot?

And don't worry, I love Tytta dearly but Brasil have GlennMirnyi on their team as well so it balances it and I have no favouritism now ;)
