Ok some tips i guess. These are all for baseline play, cuz i almost never go to the net. Stats for my style which is Power baseliner are: 100 percent on all forehand and backhand categories, 100 percent on serve stats, 0 percent on netgame and dropshot, 70 percent on lob. 100 percent for speed and stamina is always required. 0 percent on topspin is recommended for beginners.
1. The easiest way to learn movement, is to use wasd keys. For people not familiar with these standard online game controls, W is for running forward, a for running left, d for running right and s for running back. Use caps lock for hitting with the combined fire 1 +2. Get rid of power 1, because you will never need it and set it on shift. While you use the big space bar for power 2, which are slices. Practice this movement, while hitting against the cpu (on Master level or incredible is recommended) for a while to get the hang of it.
2. While receiving serve, it's necessary to focus your eye totally on the ball and don't look off it. That way you can read easier where it lands, as you go for a big return. After returning the first serve succesfully, the experienced opponent will often go for the biggest shot (depending on if you hit the return weaker than predicted) For people who suck at returning serve, put auto positioning at max in the stats menu and press your hit button whenever the opponent hits the serve on the rise, to move to the position the serve goes to.
3. Whenever your opponent gives you a shot that seems reachable, but might not get on the right spot of your racquet, you quickly reach for the ball and slice it. Besides a slice almost never missing, this will give you some time to position yourself, when the opponent might not hit his shot as fast as before. Whenever you get a ball that your able to hit hard, do not push the direction you want to hit, before the balls lands in front of you. Whenever you push the fire 1+2 and the direction you hit, push it for like 1,5 seconds max 2 seconds when it lands near you.
4. If you can't win the way i listed above, you can always use the weapon of angles. Whenever you are standing to the far left or right, push fire 1+2 and w + a when you stand to the right, or w + d if you stand to the left. You hold this as long as a normal baseline shot, so you won't make an error in the process.
5. Not really necessary but i find it easier to have serve number 2, the standard one to use, aswell as playing right handed. I have experimented a lot with serves and ambidextrous methods and i kept spraying errors and dfs. The same difference lies for forehand styles and backhands. Experiment with all of them if you have the time and find which one suits you the most and yes try them against high level cpu's and even online players, to test where you score the best results.
