Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse needs to get healthy and find his game again. He is not a teenager anymore and there are a lot of other US guys instead of him, who are going to continue getting lots of WC for all tournaments in the future, like Harrison, Britton, Cox and many others..

Mardy Fish!

Brian Baker - Steve Johnson - Lleyton Hewitt - Carlos Berlocq - Tommy Haas - Ivo Karlovic - Richard Gasquet - Kevin Anderson - David Ferrer - Michael Russell - Fabio Fognini - Dustin Brown - Somdev Devvarman

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse has had an atrocious season so far with only 2 match wins and tore his groin which cost him a month of action, and has had injury concerns on and off for a while. His last good result was last October. He is defending a SF this week, so pressure is on him to do well to hold onto his ranking of 108 and try to make a move into the top 100 before the Wimbledon points drop off.

Donald Young USA [6] vs. Greg Ouellette USA [WC]
Fritz Wolmarans RSA [WC] vs. Ryler DeHeart USA
Alex Satschko GER [PR] vs. Catalin Gard ROU
Jesse Levine USA [2] vs. Tim Smyczek USA

This is his section, and it isn't an easy one. Tim is a good player and the H2H is 1-1. The winner of the match can make the semifinals. Good luck to Jesse!

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse withdrew from Savannah due to dental surgery, hope he comes back at his next scheduled tournament in Florida next week at Sarasota.

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse is back to action in Sarasota, he is the draw:

http://www.atpworldtour.com/posting/2010/5069/mds.pdf

Jesse plays Catalin Gard in R1, and will play a Q in R2.

He has a really great chance to make the QF to play Young but as we have seen, anything can and has happened with Jesse. What's most important is he is healthy, fit, and able to play at 100%, and the results should come. He really needs some good results as his ranking is about to slide in a negative direction, so some good wins and confidence would do wonders for him.

Good luck in Florida, Jesse!

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse won 6-3 6-2 today, broke serve 4 out of 8 attempts and won about 70% of his service points. Good performance after showing poor form for a while. He's back in his old stomping grounds in Florida so hopefully he goes on a deep run in draw at Sarasota this week.

Re: Jesse Levine

After an amazing run through qualies at Roland Garros, Jesse is again in the final qualy round at Wimbledon, defeating countryman Bobby Reynolds in a tight 3 setter in the first round and having a much easier match in the 2nd round. 1 more!

Re: Jesse Levine

his ranking is too bad for ATP Atlanta, so he's playing Lexington challenger instead, where he's seeded 5th
