Re: Jesse Levine

Has Goochi first round Cinci, it's a good matchup for Jesse.

Re: Jesse Levine

by qualifying for TMS Canada and beating Polansky Jesse climbed the rankings to a career-high of 108

he still has several good challenger results to defend this year, but absolutely nothing until end of September

hopefully he will reach some good results until then, so he can play without pressure

Re: Jesse Levine

fantastic, getting into the top 100 will be huge to get direct entry to slams next year. then maybe he gets a good draw or two and anything can happen

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse lost to Guccione today in straights....very disappointing that he couldn't even hold on for a tiebreak - he got broken late in each set. he had chances but guccione served huge and the surface is so fast, but too many bad mistakes from jesse. like a different player from the one that pushed rafa so hard. Really disappointing. Maybe he prefers slightly slower surfaces or something. He hit a few DFs and also he didn't do enough on Guccione's 2nd serve at all. Really unfortunate.

Re: Jesse Levine

Jesse lost to Bogomolov 6-4 7-6(1). However, he's first in line for a lucky loser spot and my guess is that Del Potro's participation is unlikely.

Re: Jesse Levine

so del Potro withdrew as expected and Levine will take his spot?

if he does so, he will play Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in 2nd round..

Yep. Gotta love when losing in qualifying gets you into the second round

hopefully he can defeat GGL
losing would mean zero points for a first-round loss as well

Re: Jesse Levine

Darcis in R16 will be tough
Jesse better hope for heat as the Belgian is usually the more struggling the higher the temperature is
and considerably less than today's 7 DFs would help as well

go Jesse
