Wow what a scoreline! Seems he did the same in Maui over his opponents. Congrats MR

Re: Michael Russell

Mike has now moved to 115 in the rankings and if he remains injury free, then he should be able to make direct entry into Roland Garros.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Michael Russell

Russ takes out Lars Burgsmuller 6-4 7-5 in 1:47, a solid performance with a 28 winners and 17 unforced for Russ. He plays the winner of Harel Levy and Leo Mayer. Should Russ advance to the final round of qualies, he would meet Paul Baccanello or Bohli. Both are winnable an dhis chances of qualifying if he plays well are very good.

Re: Michael Russell

Happy to hear Michael won Levy is def. beatable. I've seen him play at this challenger for the past few years. Michael should be able to beat him. Never saw Leo Mayer play so I can't judge.

Re: Michael Russell

Yes, I have seen all his matches so far and will see it tomorrow, but I have a lot of data to process at the moment for 3 days, so it won't be until tomorrow before I can think of getting something resembling a report of the matches.

Russell's in after beating Australian Paul Baccanello 6-2, 6-1. Three straight set victories for Russell. He's on a roll.

If he wins a round in the AO, he'll likely crack the top 100.

Edit: You beat me by seconds, Grinder.

Re: Michael Russell

Hahaha, Russ got Lleyton in the 1st round, this is what could be called a test.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Michael Russell

for making it Michael.

for drawing Hewitt

But I am sure Hewitt is just as displeased, Russell is playing some great tennis, should be a good match.
