Re: Ryan Sweeting
Ryan got beaten badly today by Kei 6-4 6-0, but he has no reason to hold his head down, he had a very good week once again, and is one step closer to the top 100. Let's see if he rides with this positive momentum in Sarasota, here is the draw:
Ryan will play Jose Rubin Statham in the first round. If he wins he will play the winner of Baker/Venus in R2. Ryan has a really great draw to make it to the SF, where he may play Kei again. Hopefully he makes it there first, and we'll see what happens if that match up comes together again.
Keep up with the good performances in Florida, Ryan!
Kei back into good form but Ryan is really putting together really solid results this year. He's played 43 matches (including the 3 in the qualifying tournament for Roland Garros) and is 32-11 while qualifying in Memphis, Miami and Houston and just missing in Sydney and AOpen (final rounds, 3 sets). Go Ryan, great steady progress.
