I wish Rhyne didn't run around his backhand so much. I realize that his forehand is a bigger weapon -- and I think his forehand is just a gorgeous stroke -- but he actually has a solid backhand. It isn't a total liability like James Blake's or something. I feel like his backhand could also develop into a weapon, but that's never gonna happen if he doesn't have the confidence in it to just stay put and hit the ball with his backhand rather than running around and hitting a forehand.
I also think he falls in love with his slice backhand a little too much. I'll at least give him credit for improving that shot, as it does appear he is getting into deeper into the court than he was several months ago. But he does better when he just rips it.
