I would think he should be in the top 10 in Junior ranking when the new ranking come out if not close ?

Team USA

J. Donaldson | N. Rubin | S. Kozlov | B. Kozlov | F. Tiafoe | M. Mmoh | T. Harry Fritz | A. Fenty

If my calculation is correct, Michael should have around 670 points come Monday (projected ~19 pending on others' movement in the ranking). Not top 10 but good for direct acceptance into the Orange Bowl

Singles Doubles
250 120
100 120
80 30
60 30
60 30
30 30

580 360

580+ 360/4 = 670

Okay Thanks He should/could make the top 10 If he plays the Orange Bowl & Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championships But there no need too rush it if it don't happen I just looking forward too him playing all Junior Majors next year & hoping Francis will continue climb up the ranking as well

Michael is financially in a better spot (IMG's backing) than Francis which allows him to travel and get some easy points. Glad to see him take advantage. The Osaka Cup is probably the weakest GA event on the calendar, but I hope he can build on this result. Can't wait to see them play in the slams next year.

I remember Michael saying how much his BH improved and watching this it's obvious how. It's far from the most beautiful 2 hander but the way he takes it on the top of the bounce, leans in, and crushes it is really impressive.

I don't profess to be anything special at analyzing strokes but I do know how important it is for a right hander with a 2HBH to drive the left hip through the hitting zone to generate maximum power. And Michael does this very well, which is of course not an American thing to do

Nathan Ponwith beat Catalin Mateas in the final of the G4 in Boca Raton. Well done.

Alex Rybakov and Ulises Blanch lost in quarterfinals. Does anybody know anything about Blanch? Never heard of him until now.

I was about to post that his results have been so good as to warrant close attention. He'll now also be the fourth highest ranked American'98 after his result this week.

I watched him against Nakagawa and my impression is that he is kind of a ballbasher. Huge forehand and weaker backhand. Definitely serious potential.

Thanks, tried to watch the stream but was irritated with the quality. According to coretennis, he represented Thailand. Recent switch, probably the reason we never heard of him. Looks like he is on the list of Eddie Herr qualifying but too bad there are no streams for the 18s.
