I have been saying this for years but it makes too much sense for the USTA I honestly think Bjorn would be much further along now if he were playing clay futures in Europe and South American the last year.

The funniest thing is how people at the USTA constantly talk about wanting to produce players that are good on red clay. Do they ever take the obvious steps to make it happen? Hell no

I think we need to find a way to get you on the USTA Board.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

I didn't see Daniel in the qualies, so I think he got a wildcard.

I agree. Klahn must also have a wildcard in Sacto. Good luck to both.

Daniel draws the No.1 seed, Benjamin Becker. Tough one, good luck.

42% first serve, nevermind . Saw mostly the last set and thought he served well

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

Good to hear! I hope he goes deep in the draw. As it is, this win is enough to get him within the top 300.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

Fantastic win. He's finally making some noise, and by the looks of it, he's tidied his game up a lot. Promising signs.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

Daniel will play McClune next. Note to DK: avoid McClune's forehand.
If Daniel can attack McClune's backhand consistently, he should be able to win the match. Good luck.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

I thought he would never break Michael . Understandable though, Michael is tough to break when he is serving well.

I agree! DK had 11 break points that he could not convert. After losing the 1st set, he was constantly playing from behind in the 2nd set. But even when the going was not good, he showed great mental toughness. He finally wore McClune down in the 3rd set and was able to convert the last two break points. Great job.
