Re: Daniel Kosakowski

75 76 felt kinda guilty rooting against Devin, but I really wanted Daniel to get back inside the Top 300.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

As I expected, it will be Jeff Dadamo in the final. Daniel needs to return well to have a chance; when Jeff cranks up the serve, he is tough to beat. When was the last time there were two 1-handed backhand Americans in the final?

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

Congrats to DK for winning a tournament again. Great work!

He's off this week. Next week and the week after are the Sacramento and Tiburon Challengers, where he might have to qualify unless there are enough withdrawals or if he receives wildcards due to his recent hot hand.

Last week at Claremont, DK told Radio Tennis that he planned to go to South America to play clay court tournaments. There are a bunch of Challengers and Futures there to close the season.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

Guess he prefers claycourt afterall. Wise decision IMO, I feel that he is not as strong on hardcourt as the other young Americans. Btw, can he take Buchanan with him?

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

If he does follows through and goes to South America, it will be interesting to see which tournaments he chooses and if he teams up with someone. His partner from the European tour in May/June, Blake Strode, seems to be out of action lately.

Re: Daniel Kosakowski

I think the USTA should set up some type of program/make arrangement to help players who want to compete in South America. It would greatly benefit young players who prefer red clay like Fratangelo and Halebian.

This would be an excellent idea. Maybe you should email them about this suggestion. (if they would actually listen)

Daniel has changed a lot since his freshman year at UCLA. Time sure flies.

It is hard to believe that someone did not suggest this already.
