Served it out successfully the 2nd time 63 64. First grass final If he wins has a chance to surpass Sock and Kudla, top 100 a knock away

Way to go, Justin Verlander doppelganger!

That's another top 100 player I'll be seeing in Winnetka next month.

Nor of Vince Spadea nor Jonathan Stark...--all ranked in the world’s top one hundred at one point in 1995. Nor of Jeff Tarango, sixty-eight in the world, unless you remember his unfortunate psychotic breakdown in full public view during last year’s Wimbledon.

You are invited to try to imagine what it would be like to be among the hundred best in the world at something. At anything. I have tried to imagine; it’s hard."

Re: Steve Johnson

Good week for him, I was the only one who picked him in the Challenger's Challenge game to win, nice match over Pospisil btw.

Re: Steve Johnson

Too bad Steve and Somdev can't play doubles together. Hopefully, Steve can qualify with Siljestrom.

Quote:
As Klahn went down, so did another former collegiate player, Somdev Devvarman of India. Devvarman, who won two N.C.A.A. singles titles at the University of Virginia, lost 7-6 (4), 4-6, 18-16 to Matt Reid of Australia. Devvarman will also miss out on the doubles, as he and his intended partner, two-time N.C.A.A. champion Steve Johnson, missed the rankings cutoff by two places.

Johnson, who received a wild card into singles after winning a Challenger title last week in Nottingham and breaking into the Top 100 for the first time, was able to find another partner at the last minute: Andreas Siljestrom of Sweden, who also would have missed the cut with his original partner. Johnson and Siljestrom played the day’s last match, beating Lewis Burton and Daniel Evans of Britain, 7-6 (7), 4-6, 11-9.

Re: Steve Johnson

Gets Reynolds in the first round of Wimby. Steve lost to Reynolds earlier this year, so it will be tough. Good luck.
