Cory Parr, teammate of Todd Paul at Wake Forest University, had a record breaking career for the Deacons. Cory, from Jericho, New York, played #3 mostly as a freshman. The lefty moved his ranking up throughout his years at Wake Forest. Cory was ready to rock the NCAA by his senior year. Him and teammate Steve Forman won a National Championship in doubles at the ITA Indoor's. The duo remained at #1 throughout most of the regular season.
Cory broke Todd Paul's career singles wins record at 108 at the latter part of the season. Cory got great wins over top 10 opponents throughout the year. He carried the Deacs to the conference finals as well as the NCAA Sweet 16. Cory's resume is filled with wins over top 10 opponent's, as well as his stunning doubles career. Cory is the winningest singles AND DOUBLES player in Wake Forest history. Now, he is looking to carry over his success to the pro's. Cory and Todd have already won a doubles title together at a futures event.
