Thumbs up EIGHTY ONE Winners!!!!

I wanted Greg to win cause he was on my team for some game, but come on...

EIGTHY ONE winners for pete

When is the last time someone hit 81 freaking winners in a match? Does he want it or what!

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

I would argue that it was Rusedski's 10 double faults that did him in. His serve is so essential to his game . . . after all, Pete only won the match by five points.

Kuerten against Mirnyi last year

An amazing Kuerten hit MORE then 100 winners in his match against Mirnyi last year in USopen .... But Sampras look impressive today .... but I think he will bounced off against Haas ...

Sorry to be "pessimistic" but it's easy to have a high # of winners and low # of errors when playing a serve/volleyer if you're doing "ok." A pass is a winner, and if you miss, they usually put away the volley. So, yeah.

Mirnyi himself had a huge amount of winners in that match as well. I dont remember if it was over 100, but he was the serve and volleier and did the same.
And as for Pete, 81 is damn too much and its hell not easy. Even if he was playing my mom.

HEY! I was the one to always say the guy should stay around because I enjoyed seeing him play. And I really do.
I hope he kicks ass and prove everyone wrong.

And btw, he hit other 82 winners yesterday. AND GUESS WHAT? No serve-volleyer this time!!!!
