Who's Going?

Unfortunately, I forgot to enter the ballot

But I shall be heading there quite a few days, get some ground passes and probably queue overnight and get drunk once or twice

Anyone else going?

Re: Who's Going?

Im going , I'll get some ground passes for the first few days and probably queue too.

Question: how good are court 1 tickets?

I want to have my evil way with Tommy Robredo

I reckon Court 1 is nicer than Centre Court actually....It also depends who you want to see. I mean, you're gonna get Henman, Murray or Federer if you're on centre court in the first few days. If you're on Court 1, you'd probably get Nadal or Roddick (which is more to my preference).

Re: Who's Going?

I have late 2nd week tickets (ladies semis |: ) and also plan to live in the queue for the first week + (as per normal).
*I will go the rest of the late rounds if Tim makes it that far, which he won't unfortunately.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Who's Going?

Another question, how does the queue work? Do you just stand in line for tickets all night long? and do you have to queue for ground passes? how do you get those?

ok, more like three questions

Yeah basically people start queing the day before. So if you want centre court tickets I'd advise you to get there the afternoon before, people usually start queuing about 2pm. Court 1 you can usually arrive early evening or so (these are rough estimates based on my experience, it's not guaranteed!). It also depends who's playing on the day, if there are Brits playing it's usually busy. Ground passes the first few days aren't too hard to get, as long as you arrive before about 8.00am you're pretty likely to get them.

Good luck with that! I thought he was going to be kind and make the final for me in 2004, but then that Ancic match happened.

You can go queue

Yeh I'm really lucky man...will make the most of it as these things rarely happen. Like I said, I'm hoping for the day to be extra special...

....and that wouldn't happen if you occupied the seat next to me
