FINAL

Hewitt def Blake 7-5 7-5

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines, Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream.

Looks like I'll have to run Nottingham then. A warning though that I'll be quite busy next week so expect late updates.

Re: Predict-The-Score #78 Queens 2006

silverwhite grabs the lead with just the final to go. All depends on who wins today, with many people snapping at his heels to clinch the title. He'll have to produce on the big day, otherwise he could find himself sliding down the leaderboard.

Vamos Hewitt

Re: Predict-The-Score #78 Queens 2006

Final scores updated.

adee-gee steals the title from under silverwhite's nose with a near perfect performance in the final. silverwhite hangs on to 2nd spot, with fellow countryman Aiken Drum joining adee-gee on the podium, tying for 3rd with Smasher.

The British media have gone crazy, many suggesting adee-gee now has a real shot at becoming the first British winner of Wimbledon since Fred Perry. Despite this being only his 2nd tournament, he showed some sublime flashes of skill on his way to the title.

adee-gee said afterwards : "I'm thrilled to collect my first title, and didn't for a moment think it would come this quickly. I'd like to thank all my fans for the support they've given me this week, and hope I can carry this form into Wimbledon. I would also like to pay tribute to the tournament organiser for doing such a wonderful job. I'm going to get drunk to celebrate now, before heading to Nottingham for more practice on the grass".

Runner-up silverwhite said : "He was lucky "
