No French wine, but how about some good German beer? - Masters Series Hamburg

This is the next Tournament that I found Santoro's name in the entry list. So I thought I would go ahead and start the thread.

I have no idea? I was thinking his name was on the list to play Rome. Either I am wrong about the list or he has changed his plans No what am I thinking about? Rome is before Hamburg and I was looking for Fab on the Rome list, but couldn't find his name. So I went to the Hamburg list and found his name there

Uh... So no Santoro, no Clement and no Gasquet (still injured ) in Rome...
Maybe the French players have a problem with the Italian organisators of this tournament

Draw is out. This is what his section looks like:

(15)STEPANEK, Radek CZE vs BAGHDATIS, Marcos CYP
SANTORO, Fabrice FRA vs (WC)PHAU, Bjorn GER
MALISSE, Xavier BEL vs Qualifier
HAAS, Tommy GER vs (2)NADAL, Rafael ESP

Allez!

Thanks silverwhite for Fab's Draw. I don't know much about Phau, but he has done some winning of Matches at some Tournaments because I remember the name. I was somewhat surprised with that name that he is from Germany. But I'm sure that their are all sorts of people that were born in the U.S. and just to see or hear their names the U.S. wouldn't be the country that would come to mind.

Fab is last match on Center Court tomorrow. That helps to play a German player. Allez Fab!!!

Yes I have noticed for some reason the German players don't do well against the French players. That's interesting. Are the French players that much better? Or do the Germans feel they just can't beat them?
Or maybe a combination of both

Well Mae, I was only referring to the fact that Fab was scheduled on the Center Court. That surely helps a lot to play a German player in Hamburg for that.

Allez Fab!!!!!
