Re: Bryan Twins

holy crap, I emailed Wertheim that Ancic question as a joke a couple months ago. Never thought he'd actually include it in a mailbag LOL. Very cool that the Bryans answered it though.

The question was:

"Didn't you find it strange that Mario Ancic didn't acknowledge the passing of Pat Morita after his Davis Cup win, considering his sensei Miyagi was instrumental in getting him to this point? I mean, Ancic was waxing on like nobody's business, and he didn't care to mention the man who taught him the crane kick! Just curious what your thoughts are.

[Ed: This letter is premised on the eerie similarity between Ancic and Daniel LaRussa, Ralph Macchio's character in Karate Kid.]

Mike: Nice. Daniel-san.

Bob: That's a good one. Ancic does look like him!"

You can read the whole transcript which was posted above by Deb.

Ooh, Bobbin playing singles. Groovay. Go Bobbin. (:

So, I see we never got that damn forum yet. ):

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?

Re: Bryan Twins

I think in order to get a BB forum, you should start more threads for them in Team USA. Start a pictures thread and a seperate articles thread. That might help.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

Re: Bryan Twins

Nah, that's not the problem, other players have gotten forums with one long thread (Marcos comes to mind first but there are many others). They're just anti-doubles
