Re: AFL Round 3

Early thoughts

Pies over Richmond .. but not sure about covering the line . tigers still without Troy Simmonds

WCE StraightUp (ML)

St kilda with the points .. they match up well with WB .. won twice comfortably last year and Nick should be back.. no Aka or WB

Carlton with the points ..usually close games with essendon..i remember last year draw. essendon after 2 wins , carlton after a big loss ..

Brisbane with points in Sydney .. depends on how big is the line spread

Geelong to cover whatever line against Demons (no Neitz , no Robertson)

2 games no bet .. South Autralia derby and Kangaroos X Hawks .. toss of a coin

Probably because of their recent record over them

But having a look at who is out for Freo this weekend the odds do look a little weird

Should be a classic i was thinking 15.5pts either way for value in a thriller!!Hard game to call cos Dockers own Weagles and have lost 2 in a row but then again West Coast will want Revenge!!Home game for Freo will mean bigger support and may get em home in the end!!How well will the recruits fair will be interesting cos Dockers need it with the absence of Jeff Farmer who is crucial to the set up of the team!!!

There's other games than this one, i'd leave it alone. To much of a lottery.

Does anyone know why Pies drifted to 1.75 and line down to -5.5 from 8.5 ?
Any news about Troy Simmond maybe?
Also St kilda drifted out to 2.00 and WB firmed to 1.8 ..
i will be watching the footy show .. and will post any news

Re: AFL Round 3

most likely the drift in Pies X tigers game due to Troy Simmonds being named. the footy show included him in the tigers lineup.
most likely i will skip this game.

Re: AFL Round 3

Exotic tonight.

Richardson to kick more goals than behinds @ $1.65

Richmond +4.5 @ $1.91 - I think they will get up this week and win.

Western Bulldogs @ $1.85 - I think they will bounce back this week.

Fremantle +5.5 - They have owned WC and I think that Tarrant and Pavlich will put on a show.

Brisbane +14.5 - VALUE - I'm also going for us to win outright @ $2.85 - Regardless, this game will be close. Hall won't play and if he does, he won't be able to run out the game - Merrett will stitch him up.

Kangaroos +9.5 - Will keep this close - may even win.
