NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

As far as tonight's game goes .. on principle alone, the Wests Tigers deserve support with the +7.5 tonight against the Eels. The prices in this game reflect a side that's turned the corner, the Eels certainly haven't. The big 'if' though is how the premiers will perform without Hodgson in the lineup. Still, their up tempo approach and speed around the rucks should worry Parramatta.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Good call Flamboyant, Farrah is going to cause hell around the ruck. I dont like John Morris playing hooker, but if that means a ginuine 5/8 is playing thats good. This will be Smiths biggest game of his career and hopefully he can get Tahu and the putside backs some more ball. I like Eels -7.5 with the return of the great FUI FUI. Eels pack will steam roll the smallish Tigers and the likes of Tahu and Grothe will add the points. NO Marshall and NO Hodgson = loss for Tigers.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Might be one stay away from, from a punting point of view .. just has that feel about it that anything could happen .. Tigers could nick a win, Eels could scrape home, or the dam wall might bust and the hosts could run away with it .. too many if's buts and maybe's ..

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

on the head to head or with a margin? 1-12 does look the play if you were going to make one .. most likely scenario points to the Eels grafting out a win .. think a bit of wet weather is the forcast tonight too.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Thanks for the info. After all the Eels troubles I think they will win 13+ tonight. But they are the worst attacking team in the comp so theres a high chance it could be a low scoring game, especially if the weathers bad.

Agree 100% Andrew,Didnt know FUI FUI was back but he will definetely liftem through the middle!!!Im with ya on the Eels -7.5pts 2nite aswell,i think the Books made this line to get the Tigers backers rooted imo!!Eels should be switched on n when they are can be a headache,i actually see Tahu running amok n Grothe backing up strongly!!Watch Vella n Hindmarsh to cut sick,ya i see a touch up comin aswell!!!

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Adding!!!

40 units on Parramatta Eels ML 1.49/Hawthorn ML 1.43 = 2.13 over West Tigers/Carlton Blues - Both teams should win 2nite imo and comfortably aswell!!!

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Eels did it pretty easily in the end. A bit nervous when Tigers scored 2 trys in 1 minute though.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Good stuff Andrew and Sports Freak .. That was a pretty brave punt on the Eels but they obviously played exactly as you expected them to. Good start to the weekend!

As for today .. the Cowboys should roll the Sharks, but I just have a sneaking inkling of a feeling something could go amiss.. Coming off a tough game last sunday, could there be a let-down factor? Skipper Travis Norton is also out.

Does anyone have a definite answer on Andrew Johns? Is he out or is he playing?? He was spotted in the crowd at Telstra Dome last night, so is in Melbourne, but the talk asll week has been about his injury and subsequent absence for at least a fortnight.??
if he's out, the $1.55 about the Storm is worth sucking up with a straw IMO.

As for that other game across the ditch, well, is anyone brave enough to even consider a punt on anything to do with that one??

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Andrew Johns is down in Melbourne using Collingwoods state of the art Hyperbaric room to work on his injury. He will not be playing.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

As for the game across the ditch I think the Warriors are specials. Souths are a team that follow a good effort ie last weeks 8 point loss to the Bulldogs with a bad effort. Generally one of their good efforts rarely come up with a win and there bad efforts lead
to 30 - 50 point losses

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Agree Flamb,Cowboys should roll the Sharks but this game may not look as easy since the things you have pointed out, also Sharks comin of a hiding!!!This seems like the perfect scenario to get on the Sharks but after last weeks effort of both sides you gotta have guts to go against the Cowboys n back the stinkin Sharks!!!JT might cause havoc again!!!
I believe Kones was never gonna play this week, just more mind tricks from Hagan!!Stroms played to well to give this one up but in sayin soo the Knights are out there to prove critics wrong!!!

Manly Sea Eagles could be the Dog this weekend,Bulldogs didnt look to sharp against Rabbitohs while i feel Manly are hitting their straps!!!!

Nqld 1.39/Storms 1.50!!!
Warriors 1.43!!!
Manly 2.20!!!

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Thanks for the info on Johns Gucci .. With him out, should be all over Melbourne like a rash against the rudderless Knights. First game back at the 'grave yard' should be a 'W' for the Storm.

BTW, few anxious moments in last night's unders play on the Reds v Stormers ey? A win's a win in the end though.

Re: NRL ROUND SEVEN ..

Manly demand to be backed at $2.15. They've got the type of game to really worry the Bulldogs. Look to have a few more options in attack, especially in the halves. If their forwards can hold their own, the Sea Eagles will cause the Dogs a lot of headaches. I've tipped em but I won't put any cash on them - at the end of the day if could go either way.

Gee a Cowboys - Storm double looks very tempting at $2.06 ..
