COULD take the Roosters at $2 IF anything was open on Good Friday!!! Looks like I'll be a mere spectator tonight ..

Re: NRL Round 6

And how relieved I am that Good Friday prevented me from placing a wager on the Roosters! They were worse than attrocious .. Insipid!

As for Saturday .. an inform Penrith looks worth a play against a Slater-less and Hill-less Melbourne. Perhaps a Panthers - Geelong or Panthers - Western Bulldogs double..

Would lean towards Manly given the size of the hit St George took last round, while despite missing Marshall the Tigers SHOULD bounce back against the Sharks who're without Kimmorley.

Re: NRL Round 6

Yes my mob were an absolute rabble down 8 - 6 at halftime with possesion going 45 - 55 I was fairly confident with 50/50 possession in the 2nd half that we would get on top of them. But after a bad 1st half the 2nd just got worse unfortunately. Anyway looks like a tough month coming up but the top 8 will still be possible even if we are 4 and 6 after this period as generally a 50/50 win loss record will make the 8 or take you pretty close.

SF .. Also liking Panthers tonight .. But wouldn't touch the Raiders game with a fifty foot pole. Gotta take teams that are in form and Penrith are exactly that.

Flamb,i now where your comin from,n yes its very true that you should be backing the in from teams but not necessarily all the time as you would know urself through maybe previous experence!!!let me try to convince you abit more!!but definetely the Blacks Cats are the play 2nite!!!Still like the Raiders alot but not as big of a play due to the reasons you have metntioned above, looked at several aspects on this game with h2h, player matchups, forms, etc!!!

Lets look at the Panthers/Storm game first!!!

Panthers are playin unbelievable footy atm,Storms are missing Slater n Hill also but the main damage would be done by the forwards,Too much to handle n thats when the game will break open!!!

Raiders/Warriors!!!

The Canberra captial used to be a mine field where you would be lucky to get away with a win,i think Raiders have a good record over the Warriors but thats not the main thing, like the Raiders team matchups alot more then NZ!!!Also Radiers wont come out lightly this time after the 30-0 blitz by me Doggies!!!Shifoske is da man to look out for!!!!

Re: NRL Round 6

Finalise plays!!!!

50 units on Penrith Panthers -5.5pts over Melbourne Storms- Explained above

30 units on Canberra Raiders pk @ 1.80 over New Zealand Warriors- Home team more desperate imo!!!!

20 units on Penrith Panthers ML @ 1.56/Newcastle Knights ML @ 1.50 = 2.34 over Storms/Cowboys- Both home teams are i full flight n should win at home!!!

Good luck- Leaning strong on Sharks +4 n Dogs -12.5 2morro!!!
